Electrical Connections for Explosive Atmospheres

Technor B2X Junction Boxes are designed to withstand aggressive environments like corrosion and pollution. They can be used in Zones 1 & 2 (gas) as well as Zones 21 & 22 (dusts).

B2X Technical Features:

• Max. Voltage of 630 V
• Watertight IP66/IP67
• 2 Sizes: 120 x 120 x 90 mm or 160 x 160 x 90 mm
• T4, T5, and/or T6 Temperature class from -40°C up to +60°C

The B2X Series junction boxes feature a high resistance glassfiber reinforced polyester (GRP) enclosure which was specially designed to host wide range terminals, multiple power sockets and disconnectors. These boxes meet increased safety Ex e, intrinsic safety Ex ia, and/or explosion proof Ex de levels of protection. Install in small, hard to access spaces in extreme conditions, offshore applications, and hazardous areas.
